The Starving Artist Chapbook series is designed to launch new voices into the literary atmosphere. The chapbooks are designed to be small in size (16 pages or less), yet grand in stature.

We read unsolicited manuscripts year round. Please send no more than 20 pages of poetry, or fiction text to:

Kelly Braden lives in San Diego. He is finishing a collection of poems, and crafting his first novel.He seeks something beautiful in the scarred landscape of Suburbia.

His poems can be found in Saxifrage, The Acorn Review, and Damn Good Writing.

William Loudon

William Loudon splits time between New York and Hawaii.He is a retired businessman, with over 20 years experience on Wall Street. Recently retired, he enjoys writing and gardening with his wife Marjorie.
